Let’s C.A.S.E. Pinterest

Good morning!  It’s Thursday, not my regular day to post!  Tuesday my husband asked me to make a birthday card for one of his friends from high school. This is a super busy week for me, I could just have given him one of the many cards I have made but never sent. Anyone else ever make cards they never use?  Funny, if I make a card specifically for someone I never have a problem giving it away.

It just so happened I was in need of a little crafty therapy. What’s a girl to do when she has little time on her hands?  She goes through her Pinterest boards and chooses one to CASE.

I have had this one particular card (by Michele Reynolds) pinned for many months, maybe even a year and I finally decided to give it a try.  I had all the supplies to copy the card exactly except for the embossing folder. Thankfully I have many others and easily found one that would work.

I love how it turned out, and it’s easy to give away because my heart knows I made it specially for a friend.  There is no shame in making a card that someone has already created, it just means you admired their work enough to want to recreate it.

Please stop back on Saturday, because I have a story to tell!
