Good morning! Today I had to make one of my least favorite type cards. If I thought a masculine card was tough, add that it also needs to be a sympathy card. Plus it is DSP Wednesday! The struggle was real, but in the end I’m happy with how my card turned out.
For my DSP I chose Come Sail Away and the Sailing Home Stamp Set to heat emboss the lighthouse onto Night of Navy Card Stock. But the white was so too bright for my liking, so I laid my panel on my Early Espresso ink pad and prayed for the best LOL
As you can see in the closeup it did mess up my Night of Navy a little but happy accident, it kinda looks like night sky now, or am I the only one that sees that? I recently added the Woven Heirlooms Bundle to my craft room. I love the sentiments for a sympathy card and the dies and embossing folders make gorgeous frames. Yes, that is retired ribbon, but I had it so I used it. LOL
In other crafty news:
I had a tornado size mess to clean up in my craft room, and rediscovered a bag of mason jar lids I’ve had since my granddaughters baby shower in 2015! I turned them into a pumpkin! With the Farmhouse Decor style so popular and the galvanized look it uses, I think it’s pretty cool and will fit in nicely with my Halloween decor, and I can change out the ribbon and still use it for Fall/Thanksgiving!
That’s all for now, enjoy your day!
